This is a home that could never sell in a traditional manner. The wife did not want to move even though they needed to. We had more than 900 people show up on the day of the sale and received over 180 offers. During the One Day Sale the top real estate agent in Irvine stopped by and made her prediction that the home would sell for no more than $825,000. We ended up selling the house for $935,000 The sellers were thrilled. (The husband anyway). They are all now living happily in their new home in another state.
This home sat on the market with very little activity for 222 days with another real estate company until it expired and our company was hired to do the One Day Sale.
We had our professional architectural photographer, Luke to come in and shoot the home in its best light. These photos became the basis for all of our marketing efforts. We also removed any evidence of the dogs on the day of the sale and the dogs went off with the homeowner. The turn out was good, about 400 people with over 70 offers at the One Day Sale and the home owner was stunned that after more than 200 days of suffering on the market his house had finally been sold for top dollar in One Day.
This was a family who did not like lots of interruptions in their life. We had approximatly 400 people at the One Day Sale and found the perfect buyer for this home and got it sold for maximum market value with only One Day of showing the house.
